South Africa's housing market is reopening from 1 June. Adrienne Hersch Properties has adopted strict safety protocols as we take the first steps on the road to a fully functioning market.

Rest assured we will follow government guidelines closely to ensure the safety of our staff and our clients - this remains our priority and will shape our plans as we move forward. In light of this, we've put plans in place to enable viewings and valuations to take place as safely as possible. These include:

1. Showdays strictly prohibited

2. Property viewings by appointment only

3. Only 1 agent and maximum 2 clients permitted

4. Agent to ensure nobody at the address is vulnerable or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19

5. Agent to ensure client isn’t vulnerable or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19

6.  Residents should ideally be out during the viewing

7. Residents will be requested to leave all internal doors open

8. Customer & Agent to sanitize hands before and after property visit

9. Masks must be worn at all times

10. Agent and Client must not touch any surface of the property

11. Social distancing must be maintained at all times

12. Bathroom facilities are prohibited

We have successfully been helping buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants with virtual viewings and virtual market appraisals since lockdown started, and we will continue to offer these services. However we know that for many of you physical viewings are necessary.

We’re very happy to be able help get you moving again - either virtually or in person - so please don’t hesitate to contact us for further guidance and to discuss your options.
