Adrienne Hersch Properties' CEO looks back on 2020
Dear AHP Family,
I hope everyone is having a great festive season and if possible spending time with family while keeping safe! I pray that you and your families remain safe and healthy during this time and that you enjoy these precious moments, even if it requires us all to be socially distant.
If 2020 has taught us anything, it has been to remind us all of what is truly important and what truly matters in life. To appreciate and enjoy the moments, the experiences and the memories with all of those that we hold dear.
And whilst I’m sure I speak for all of us, when I say I can’t wait for the clock to strike 12 on New Year’s Eve. As I reflect back on 2020, I am quite surprisingly filled with both hope and pride.
My pride, stems from the fact that, no matter the plethora of obstacles placed in our path or the hardships experienced both personally or as a collective, we as a company and as a family emerged with our heads held high, stronger and more better equipped than ever before.
2020 will be marked as the year, in which we took the decision to no longer remain an island. The decision to join Keller Williams, the world's largest real estate company will certainly make us stronger and provide us all with opportunities that we never before could have experienced.
Whilst change is never easy or smooth, I am confident that by embracing the tools and network we now have at our disposal, there is no ceiling to what we as individuals or as a company can achieve.
This year our industry was tested like never before. Being an industry rooted in fostering and developing personal relationships, our ability to meaningfully engage with our clients was tested to the limits.
However, rather than succumbing to the restrictions imposed upon us. We chose rather to embrace the challenge and evolve.
We embraced technology, making use of the power of Zoom and virtual walk through videos. We continued to to do what we do best, and that is to provide our clients with personal and professional service whilst remaining socially distant at all times.
Whilst I am so proud of each and every one of you and thankful for your commitment, your loyalty and your desire to succeed and achieve there are certain individuals that require special mention and whose unrelenting perseverance and hard work made the impossible possible.
Whilst I am under no illusion that with the clock striking 12 on New Year’s Eve everything will miraculously will return to normal, I do remain excited for the year to come and all that it promises.
2021 will see the launch of our very own Auction division, built on the strength of a custom designed and world class integrated tech platform. This platform will enable both onsite and online auctions with live streaming, integrated online registration as well as live bidding.
Hersch Auctions will provide us all with another string to our bow, allowing us the ability to offer our clients the flexibility of a different marketing and selling approach. I for one am extremely excited about this new venture.
Our Property Management division has and will continue to flourish and with our imminent migration over to a new management platform called We Connect, we are soon going to be able to provide our clients with a far more streamlined and far more efficient management service.
Lastly, I am beyond excited to see us all become not only accustomed to but masters of the many new tools we now have available to us through the Keller Williams network. From growth share to network leveraged sales, our business model and our agents are now equipped with a technological edge and the ability to offer our customers whatever they wish.
I am confident that we now have what it takes to push real estate forward, increase productivity and of course profitability both individually and as as Company.
We are as we always have been and will always continue to be Adrienne Hersch Properties.
I wish you all a healthy, and happy New year. Stay safe and let’s make 2021 the year we all made it happen.
